How does synonyms work in episerver find

If I configure  "inomhusbad" and "simhall" to be bidirectional synonyms to "badhus". When I search for "inomhusbad" will that also include search results with "simhall" or do I need to configure that as well?

If you have added them as comma separated phrases they will all be included. No need for extra configuration

.UsingSynonyms() extension gives me wrong results when using multi words in keyword search.
