Adding links to images

Dear all,

At the point of uploading an image to the file manager in CMS 5 or subsequently viewing it in the file manager I want the user to be able to associate a link with the image - internal or external.

Has anyone done this previously has any words of wisdom?

If I understand you correctly, you could add the link as meta data.
The problem in that case would be that the editor have to add the link via a textbox, so you wont get a nice UI to add interal links.

As a first step that would be ok. How do I customise the add file dialog to do this?

You can customize it in the FileSummary.Config.
